Sneaker Showcase: 27 Air Max 1’s on Sneakerpedia

Nike Air Is Not A Shoe Ad

“Air Max is more than a shoe.”

One this day, March 26th, 27 years ago Nike changed the game. Mark Parker and Tinker Hatfield’s created not only a silhouette but cushioning system that revolutionized footwear. The Nike Air Max 1 was introduced to the world and showcased visible Air cushioning for the world to see. Nearly three decades the model has seen numerous builds and incarnations. To commemorate the special anniversary date we look back at 27 Air Max 1’s on the Wikipedia focusing on version’s true to the original, so no Hyperfuse or Engineered Mesh on this list. As with any list there are plenty omitted that could be on here. Here they are in no particular order and be sure to let us know what you think on Twitter and in the comments below.
