One of the reason’s the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” is so memorable is not only its smooth look, thanks to Tinker Hatfield’s magical touch, but it’s feature in one of Michael’s Jordan’s most memorable commercials, “Frozen.”

Don’t forget this classic Nike ad as well.

The retro is returning with a look is pretty close to the original. Of course the materials and shape has changed slightly, but the overall soul of the sneaker is there. The white and black pebbled leather uppers are here along with the gold “Jumpman” embossed eyelets. The “taxi” additions are still spotted on the special AJ12 “Quality Inspired By The Greatest Player Ever” heel tab and carbon fiber plate on the bottom. Being a build for MJ and the Chicago Bulls, the hint of red on the branding, 23 and outsole’s Jumpman logo are still in place.
