Former NBA player and Dunk Champion Dee Brown celebrates a birthday today. Known for pumping up his Reebok Pump Omni Lite’s before his 1991 Dunk contest dunks, he helped ensure that kids and adults wanted a pair of black/white/orange Pumps in their closet. Continue reading

The Crepe City Sneaker Festival is back to end the year with the largest sneaker culture event that the UK has ever seen. Since its’ first outing in 2006 was attended by a handful of sneaker collectors, Crepe City has grown to become a cant-miss event for London’s street culture and a celebration of art, fashion and music and all things sneaker. It attracts people from around the UK and Europe looking to pick up a unique pair of rare and vintage trainers at a fair price, as well as ‘sneakerheads’, fans of streetwear and 90’s throwback fashion. As the first sneaker festival in the UK Crepe City has inspired other events to pop-up in the past year but a 2000 strong crowd and 20,000 instagram supporters are testament to it’s popularity and cross-over appeal.

The funny thing is that when these “Warhawk” Nike Air Max 90‘s were first spotted they were initially mistaken as a custom.
