Since owners Eddie Cruz and James Bond opened their doors in 2002 in Los Angeles, Undefeated has become a mecca for sneakerheads to grab their kicks in every location they have opened. Along with being a premier boutique they have become a staple for streetwear, accessories and their own in-house brand. The inspiration for their brand is to blend sport culture, fashion, and art with the ability to fuse them together. Their 5-strike logo has become synonymous for exclusivity and quality for over ten years now.
When Undefeated and adidas linked up in 2008 the model they chose to use was the Trefoils premier running model the ZX 8000. The ZX 8000 model is one of adidas best modern runners and it was only right for Undefeated to work on them. The design was kept simple but very bold with a mixture of bright orange shades. The ZX 8000 features the orange in a mixture of premium leather, suede and mesh. Breaking up the orange is the addition of Rave Green which is spotted on the Torsion bar itself, along with the special insole. The iconic 5-strikes logo is of spotted, confidentially featured on the tongue. Adidas also gave you the option to style your kicks with 3 set of laces as well. The first choice was the tonal orange that was featured on the sneaker out of the boxy, a grey set of laces and the most popular, green dotted laces.
Like most Undefeated releases, these flew off the shelves and many were left in the dust trying to obtain a pair. We are happy to see on the wiki a pair for all of you to take a peep and get a better look at this special offering. Were you one of the few that was lucky enough to grab a pair ?
