Sneaker Spotlight: Us Versus Them x Steppingrazor x Reebok Classic Leather

Us Versus Them x Steppingrazor x Reebok Classic Leather

In the midst of all the old school retros of yore during the Nike Dunk craze of the mid-2000s, Reebok was following suit in their own classic. Literally. The Reebok Classic has been a time honored tradition amongst those loyal to the Zig, and this particular model follows a very interesting back story. The Us Versus Them x Steppingrazor Reebok Classic leather was only limited to 50 pairs of shoes. They came as part of a special contest held amongst Us Versus Them employees at the time that featured the artistic skills of Steppingrazor. This particular model was kept limited within store, with only 5 being made available to purchase while the rest of the pairs went up online.

One of the most noticeable features on the shoe is the thorn design featured on the toe with a slight touch towards the tongue. This is most obviously a nod to the Us Versus Them roots and what helped this San Diego store fall in love with this model. The “Hot Green” with “Steel” colorways meshing with the black certainly give off a little love towards another popular Nike shoe. A nice touch includes Steppingrazors logo of his initials shaped like a razor blade on the heel. An overlooked shoe during a time when many a brand were pushing their own “vintage” flavor, it’s great to see a collaboration with Reebok bring a little flair with small stores.
