Sneaker Spotlight: UNDFTD x Reebok Question Mid

UNDFTD x Reebok Question Mid

“There’s gonna be a million people that love Allen Iverson. There’s gonna be a billion people that hate Allen Iverson. Concentrate on the ones that care about you and keep steppin’. ”

That phrase is written on the tongue of this special Question Mid from UNDFTD. The return of A.I’s Reebok Question was one of the most popular retros in 2012. With collaborations done from the teams of Burn Rubber and Packer Shoes getting a lot of the attention, one of the first non-Reebok designed pairs of the Question Mid was done by the folks at UNDFTD, which released back in 2006, 10 years after the original.

Created for A.I. during his rookie year in 1996, the Question would become one of the best-selling Reebok sneakers ever, so UNDFTD’s first collaborative efforts with Reebok drew a lot of attention, also thanks to the vibrant multi-colored build. Teal, orange, purple, pink, yellow, white and black all played a part in the sneaker design. Besides the assortment of colors UNDFTD added details like 3M, speckled midsoles and UNDFTD branded insoles. Text was a big part of the design as well. The tongue phrase, IVERSON and 96 in bold print were added along with eyelets missing the usual Reebok text.

Highly sought after in 2006 and even more so now, these UNDFTD x Reebok Question Mids are the most rare version of the model created.
