The Nike Air Stab has not been released in a new build for quite some time, but in December 2005, the model was in the spotlight thanks to a collaborative design by London’s Foot Patrol. Over the years Foot Patrol has worked with a variety of brands, but this Nike collaboration may be their most recognizable work thanks to the unique mix of colors.

Throughout 2005 Nike released original and new colorways of the Air Stab but this collaboration quickly gained attention as the most sought after. The design is a great mixture of materials and colors. Vintage Purple in suede is matched up with black mesh and skylight paneling in leather. The upper eyelets are featured in Maize yellow which match laces that were packaged with the sneakers. Purple speckles were added onto the both the grey heel cap and midsole to complete the overall look of the sneaker.

Foot Patrol took a very different approach in the design of these Air Stabs compared to the many collaborative designs in 2005. Taking a chance on the design, these collaborative Air Stabs are one of the most recognizable builds of the model. Where do these rank amongst your favorite Air Stab builds?
