“As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster”.

Goodfellas is one of the of those quintessential mobster movies. The debate is usually between Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather or Martin Scorsese’s Goodfellas. We know which one is the preference of the Nike SB team as the movie’s inspiration was behind this pack later renamed the “Mafia” pack as to not step on any toes. The Nike SB Dunk High takes very different approach as white is the featured color here. Used on the patent leather upper down to the midsole and outsole. A reptilian print Swoosh in Team Red is added that matches the liner and midsole stitching. Contrast stitching was featured along with a Italian Horn pendant which hangs from the heel. This classy sneaker is one not often seen around.

Along with the sneakers Nike SB pulled out all the stops with the release of this pack. Created to match up with the Dunks were matching tees, track suits, polos, scarfs and suits to complete that mobster look. Did this pack do justice to the movie?
