Graffiti artist and sneaker enthusiast Stash is one of a very few number of people to have the chance to create a number of designs for Nike. The New York based artist has worked with Nike a number of times on the iconic Air Force 1, including the “Blue Pack.” Today we take a look at the high-top versions of the Nike Air Force 1 that Stash has created over the years.

The first time that Stash got his hands on the Air Force 1, he created what would later be voted on as the best Air Force 1 of all time by sneaker enthusiasts. In 2002, Stash designed the white based Air Force 1 that used the “Fat Caps” print for the first time. The print used images of the caps to spray cans, a graffiti artist’s tool of choice, in an all-over print makeup. Along with the Fat Caps print and white upper, details like the mesh midfoot panel payed homage to the original Air Force 1. Adding to its head-turning design, a translucent outsole was then added to this popular style. Three variations were produced and each was released in a different location, New York City, London (pictured above) and Tokyo. The sneakers were boxed in a matching suitcase as well.

As previously mentioned, in 2007, the Stash x Nike Air Force 1 was voted as the best Air Force 1 of all time for the 1Vote/1 Night Only 25th Anniversary Nike program, and was remade in a very limited number, 231 to be exact. There were only minor differences between the 2002 version and the 2007 edition, most notably, the heel tab of the 2007 version read “1 Night Only.”

The Fat Caps design would return again in 2008 on  a black based version of the Air Force 1, which is missing from the wiki. If you’re one of the lucky #sneakerholics to have these Tier Zero Nikes in your collection, help us out with an upload.
