Sneaker Showcase: Happy Birthday Scottie Pippen

Today former Chicago Bulls star and NBA Champion Scottie Pippen celebrates his 47th birthday. Naturally, we decided to take a look at some of his sneakers from the wiki. Pippen’s career with the Bulls saw him win 6 NBA Titles and appear in 7 All-Star games alongside another sneaker legend, Michael Jordan.

Scottie Pippen arguably wore some of the greatest sneakers of the Nineties prior to retiring and taking on tougher competition like Justin Bieber at the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game. Even for that game he hit the court wearing the second of his signature sneakers from Nike, the Air Pippen 2. Before he was awarded his own signature line from Nike in 1997, he could be seen in such legendary sneakers as the Air Bound, Air Maestro, Air More Uptempo, Air Total Max Uptempo and many more.

Pippen’s Nike signature line only lasted through the Air Pippen V in 2001 but his impact on sneaker enthusiasts is much greater than that. Surprisingly, we only have a handful of Scottie Pippen’s signature Nike sneakers on the wiki. We were able to find a number of unforgettable sneakers that Scottie Pippen wore throughout his careeer, though. Check them out below.

Do you have any Scottie Pippen sneakers in your collection? If so, add them to your crate and let us know on Twitter.
