Sneaker Showcase: Happy Birthday John Wall

John Wall Reebok Question PE

Today one of the brightest young stars in the NBA, Washington Wizards point guard John Wall, celebrates his 22nd birthday. Wall has come into his own under the watchful eye of basketball fans as one of the most talked about prospects of the last decade. With that said, it’s no surprise the speedy floor general for the Wizards quickly landed his own sneaker deal.

When the national spotlight began to shine on the skills of John Wall during high school, he became a highly sought after talent. After playing in the Air Jordan 2009 at the Jordan Brand Classic, Wall spent his short-lived college playing career playing for Kentucky, wear he could be seen wearing shoes like the Nike Hyperize. On the day before becoming the #1 overall draft pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, John Wall signed an endorsement deal with Reebok to become the face of the Reebok Hoops new direction.

Reebok didn’t waste any time getting John Wall into some exclusive sneakers. For his rookie season in 2010, John Wall was set up with his first signature model, the Reebok Zig Slash. He could also be seen wearing other exclusives, like the Reebok Question pictured above, which was just recently released as a retro model. For his second season, John Wall received a number of special makeups of his second signature sneaker, the Reebok Zig Encore.

Check out a couple of colorways of the Reebok John Wall signature shoes below and let us know if you have any in your collection that you can add to the wiki.
