Premier Swedish retailer Sneakers N’ Stuff (SNS) knows a thing or two about sneakers so it came as no surprise to see them go all out when they got a chance to create their very own Puma Clyde. SNS decided to pay tribute to their Scandinavian culture with the design of the special Clyde, which was part of Puma’s “The List” program in 2007.

The premium leather on the upper comes from Swedish reindeer while the lining is a pattern inspired by the Sami, the original settlers of the land. But they didn’t stop there as many more details were added. On the heel, the normal Puma logo was taken off and the silhouette of a reindeer is added under the SNS name. The branding is featured in a few other spots as well, on the special insole design and embossed tongues, specifically. To finish it all off there were four lace options, including one matching the print of the liner and a special branded sneaker bag. Showcasing the Scandinavian quality and heritage, only 606 units of the sneaker were created and sold at very select locations, with most of the allocation going to SNS.
