One of the premier and most established sneaker spots in Stockholm, Sneakers N’ Stuff, aka SNS, was given the opportunity to put their own spin on one of Reebok’s most well known model, the ERS 5000. For this project, the crew at SNS decided on getting inspiration from a traditional Swedish icon, the Dalecarlian horse or “Dalahästen” as they say in Sweden. Originally a carved wooden children’s toy in the 17th century, the horse has become a symbol for the country over the years.

Not only were the colors recognizable to the Swedes other details were taken from the horse as well. The insoles featured a floral print that is found on the horse, as well as details on the heel. Along with multiple lace options and special mini wooden horse key ring the sneakers featured special lace stays, one featuring the horse while the other was the SNS logo. Only 300 pairs of this special Reebok
ERS 5000 SNS5000 were created and highly sought after when they released in July 2008.
