In the world of Nike SB having a sneaker from the pink box era means that you were an early fan of the brand. One of the more simple releases during that time, around 2005, was this Dunk Low Pro nicknamed the “Bandaid” or sometimes the referred to as the Gino III.

Relatively tame in terms of colors used, the skate sneaker used a mixture of complementary colors and materials to increase it’s appeal. The upper was created using a healthy mixture of suede along with smooth and perforated leather. The grey shades along with the perforated panels reminded people of bandaids and that’s how the nickname came about. The clean cut shoe also featured a small sliver of blue along with red on the heel and tongue branding, along with laces to help it stand out even more. Couple that upper onto a dark midsole/outsole combination and this sneaker is a fine addition to any collection.

Are the “Bandaids” a part of your sneaker stack?
