Sneaker Showcase: Patta x Asics Gel Lyte Speed Pack

Patta x Asics Gel Lyte Speed Pack

To follow up with a successful partnership on the Gel Lyte III, Patta and Asics joined forces again in 2009 for the return of the Gel Lyte Speed. Not only was the timing perfect for the rebirth of the sneaker but also coincided with Patta’s 5-year anniversary. The shop created three versions of the sneaker, each unique in their own right, as three different designs were created from the minds of same artist used for the initial collaboration.

Dutch artist Parra’s version of the sneaker is build on a Red base with healthy doses of Red, Yellow and Light Blue added to create it’s unique look. The last sneaker was designed by Delta and featured the simplest look, in Black, White and Grey. This version is still needed on the wiki.

Patta x Asics Gel Lyte Speed BackpacksPremium materials as well as designed from renown artists, the topper for the pack was that each sneaker had a matching Asics backpack that was created and sold in limited quantities as well. What do you think about this special artist three pack from Asics and Patta from 2009?
