A few years ago, we lost a #sneakerholic that helped bring the love for all things sneakers to the attention of the worldwide media. Today, we wanted to remember a man who would have been celebrating his 39th birthday on this day, DJ AM aka Adam Goldstein. AM was known early in his career as the DJ of musical group Crazy Town but his sneaker infatuation started long before that thanks to the Air Force 2. Sneaker Showcase: Happy Birthday Walt “Clyde” Frazier

There are only a handful of athletes that truly changed the course of sneakers but no matter how much you shorten the list, Walt “Clyde” Frazier will always be near the top. Frazier’s uncanny ability to steal the ball from opponents with his smooth emotionless composure on the court, combined with his off-court sense of style reminiscent of Bonnie and Clyde, earned him the nickname Clyde.

Sneaker Spotlight: Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Homers”

Homer Simpson Donut2004 was the Silver Box age for Nike SB. Lots of gems came from the folks in Beaverton, like the Bucks, Jedi’s and the Homer’s seen here. As with many of Nike SB sneakers, no one from The Swoosh will officially say that the design was based off the cartoon dad. However, the colors and look of the design takes a strong resemblance to Homer Simpon’s donut-loving, beer swigging look. Continue reading

Sneakerpedia Twitter Sneaker Showcase


With Spring officially here and the weather following suit for the most part, the number of showcase submissions were large in the past week.
