Sneaker Spotlight: Nike SB Three Bears Pack

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Around the world everywhere parents read their children bedtime stories to help them fall asleep. One of the most popular children’s tales is the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. It seems like the story was one that someone at Nike SB was fond of as in 2006 we saw a trio of Dunks inspired by the Bear family. A special collaboration with Medicom Toy, known for their Bearbrick figures, all three Dunk models were created for a member of the family.

Each shoe feature a similar build with the most striking addition being the usage of Brown faux-fur added to the panels. From there each version has it’s own offsetting color in suede along with a swoosh that matches the laces. Each sneaker is finished off with a White midsole and Gold outsole along with a Bearbrick added onto the insole. Baby Bear is featured on the Dunk Low with a Sky Blue and Grasshopper Green as the accenting colors.

Mama Bear is seen on the lesser used model, the Dunk Mid. Her sneaker uses a mixture of the same Grasshopper Green along with Watermelon accents.

Finally comes Papa Bear in the large and in charge Dunk High. The head of the Bear household doesn’t share any accenting colors with his wife or child. His version features Navy and Hot House Red to complete it’s look.
