When it comes to the most popular athletes in the sneaker world, Michael Jordan is typically at the top of the list but fans of trainers around the world may argue that another star made a bigger impact. Bo Jackson’s “Bo Knows” Nike advertising campaign is one of the most memorable phrases of all time for sports fans and especially for #sneakerholics. As a star on both the baseball diamond and the football field, Bo Jackson was the reason that the Nike Training division of Nike exists today.

The year was 2009 and the city of Philadelphia had high hopes for their hometown football team. During the 2007-2008 season, the Philadelphia Eagles found huge success with the team earning a Wild Card berth and making it to the Conference Championship. The controversial signing of Michael Vick during the off-season would prove to be successful in the long run.
