One of the most talked about sneaker releases in history has made its way into history books. The Nike Air Mag raised over $5.6 million dollars for the Michael J Fox Foundation, and as soon as the lucky winners began to receive their pairs, the internet was buzzing with excitement. Air Mags also made their first appearance at the New York Dunkxchange held at Chelsea Art Museum in Manhattan over the weekend.
According to our friends over at Style Engine, the Air Mags, owned by Tony Holes, were voted the winners of a sneaker battle against the elusive Eminem Air Jordan 2. Judging from the pictures, the crowd was going crazy to see the Air Mags in person.
Keeping attendees entertained was live music, giveaways, and rare and exclusive sneakers. We spotted a few Jeremy Scott adidas silhouettes, plenty of rare Air Jordan models, customs, and seemingly everything else you could imagine.
