Sneaker Showcase: Happy Birthday Kevin Durant

Happy Birthday Kevin DurantToday, Oklahoma City Thunder team captain and the NBA’s scoring leader for the past two seasons, Kevin Durant celebrates his 23 birthday. Durant is listed as 6 feet and 9inches tall, but his rumored 7 foot, 5 inch wingspan has been wreaking havoc on the League’s defenses since he was first drafted by the (at the time) Seattle Supersonics with the 2nd pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. His arrival in the league was perfectly timed for Oklahoma City fans that have quickly become one of the most dedicated fan bases in the League.

Dunkxchange NYC Event Recap

Dunkxchange NYC Event Recap One of the most talked about sneaker releases in history has made its way into history books. The Nike Air Mag raised over $5.6 million dollars for the Michael J Fox Foundation, and as soon as the lucky winners began to receive their pairs, the internet was buzzing with excitement. Air Mags also made their first appearance at the New York Dunkxchange held at Chelsea Art Museum in Manhattan over the weekend.

Sneaker Showcase: Happy Birthday Chauncey Billups

Chauncey Billups and Kevin Garnett.

Today New York Knicks point guard Chauncey Billups celebrates his 35th birthday. The 5-time NBA All-Star will be heading into his 14th season should the NBA decide to get back to business. Although it took Billups a few years to mature (see the above picture for reference, thanks to BTPH for the photo), he eventually found his way to Detroit and earned the nickname “Mr. Big Shot” as he led the Pistons to an NBA Championship in 2004.
