This weekend will be a busy one for sneaker fanatics as there are two events happening, one on Saturday and another on Sunday. First off Sneaker Con will be invading Miami, Florida for the first time. Having held successful events in New York City and Washington D.C. already, the Sneaker Con team decided to take their talents to South Beach for some fun in the sun.
The event will be taking place at the Fieldhouse at the University of Miami’s Bank United Center. Running from 12-7pm local time, you will be able to buy, sell and trade sneakers. There will be over 30 vendors on hand to show and sell a huge range of sneakers and gear. Partnering up with adidas Originals, along with store partner Mr R Sports, Sneaker Con will also have limited edition event t-shirts and shoes made for the event.
After you party it up in South Beach, fly to the largest state on the US map and make it in time for the Summer edition of H-Town Sneaker Summit. The bi-annual event is once again going to be taking place in Toyota Center, home of the NBA’s Houston Rockets. As always, expect a host of not only local sneaker celebrities, like Bun B, boutiques like Premium Goods, SF2, Nice Kicks and Sneaker Politics, but also, #sneakerholics from across the country to convene in Houston. Sneaker Summit is a gathering where you can buy, sell, trade, display, browse and discuss rare and fashionable sneakers as well as clothing in a large venue with a friendly atmosphere. We hear they’ve partnered with Diamond Supply Co. and Sports Rapp Live for some limited edition t-shirts. There is even a pre-party with Crooks & Castles and an after party with Diamond Supply Co. to keep the attendees partying all weekend. Running from 2-8pm local time, be sure to wear some fresh sneakers to the event if you can make it.
