It’s always disappointing to see a star athlete fall from grace the way that National Football League quarterback Michael Vick did. However, after being charged with running a dogfighting organization, spending time in prison, and working his way back to the NFL, it was announced today that Michael Vick has signed with Nike, proof that he is making the most of his second chance. Vick’s signature sneakers have always been popular with sneaker enthusiasts, and his re-signing with Nike will likely result in new models if the NFL and their players can find common ground in their current dispute.

The real question will be, how will Nike live up to the popular line of Michael Vick’s signature shoes with their new designs for him? Will it even be possible?

The Nike Air Max Game Day, is basically the Nike Zoom Vick 5 sitting on a full length Air Max sole. As the name hints, this is a “signature shoe” of Michael Dwayne Vick (born June 26, 1980) who’s an American football quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He played for the Atlanta Falcons for six seasons before serving time in prison for his involvement in an illegal dog fighting ring. This particular version, along with the white croc version, is by far my favorite out of all the colorways. –4mosa

With just two of Michael Vick’s signature models on Sneakerpedia.com, we know there are more #sneakerholics out there with Vick shoes in their collection. Who will be the one to upload them to the wiki?
