If you pay attention to the blog then this past weekend was filled with sneaker events happening on both Saturday and Sunday. Miami, Florida was invaded by Sneaker Con holding their first event at the Fieldhouse in the University of Miami. Having events in previously in Washington D.C. and New York, they know how to throw a sneaker event.
The event was filled with #sneakerholics of all ages, race and genders scoping out what South Beach had to offer. Tables filled with plenty of sneakers as well as apparel. Entrants had the ability to buy, sell and trade for as long as the event was going. As much as there were special sneakers on tables throughout the venue there was just as much attention-grabbing kicks being worn. Of course the “South Beach” LeBron 8 was seen on the feet of many attendees. As well we see the special Superstar II from adidas Originals and Mr. R Sports.
